After twenty-five years with Team Rocket, Jessie, along with Meowth and James, chose to retire and pursue better lives. Driven by a newfound dream, Jessie dedicated eight years to becoming a nurse for both humans and Pokémon. As she prepared for a crucial interview, a surprising reunion awaited her at the hospital. Blissey, a long-lost friend from her Team Rocket days, greeted her with an infectious smile. At home, Jessie recalled her encounter with Chansey during her Team Rocket days and hatched a plan to even the odds. Purchasing a shrinking gadget, she affixed it to the bottom half of the necklace Blissey had given her. Testing it successfully on herself, Jessie shrank to the size of a Chansey, clothes included, her excitement evident.
With a gleeful smile, Jessie planned to unveil her surprise to Chansey, grateful for the joy Blissey brought into her life. The shrinking gadget became Jessie's way of expressing gratitude and creating a unique bond, as she eagerly anticipated Chansey's reaction to the unexpected twist.
On the second day of work, Blissey received a note from Jessie asking to meet at the hospital's PACU. Confused but curious, Blissey went there, only to find Jessie, now the size of a Chansey, waiting. Shocked, Blissey questioned why Jessie did this. Smirking, Jessie dropped from the bed, running to Blissey and hugging her tight, reminiscent of their past. Jessie explained she did it as a surprise, wanting to even the odds and make Blissey happy.
Blissey, touched but worried, reassured Jessie she didn't need to go to such lengths for forgiveness. However, she hugged Jessie tightly for ten seconds, a gesture of understanding. Jessie proposed that whenever they felt sad, she would shrink herself to bring happiness. Blissey agreed with a nod, and they decided to keep this as their little secret, heading home, cherishing the bond they rekindled, now sealed with a unique and heartfelt promise.
