After finding a necklace with mystical powers known as the "Royal Collector", Captain Syrup used said powers on the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Soon, Peach was nothing more than a new treasure for Syrup's collection... possibly the first of many, as Peach overheard the pirate captain musing about visiting Sarasaland next.
