In the Ultimate Marvel Universe Kitty Pryde of the X-Men helped save the world by growing to giant size and battling Galactus, thanks to the Giant-Man Serum.

Although she was able to win the battle, when Kitty went to shrink herself down she discovered that she went a little too far. Now barely three inches tall, Kitty has to wait for the serum to work it's way out of her system so that she can return to her normal size.
