Power Girl chases the Mistress of Acquisitions, a new villainess said to have somehow kidnapped several heroes. Undaunted, Power Girl pursues her high into the skies of Metropolis when her foe turns to face her and fires a strange weapon at her.

Power Girl suddenly feels her strength fade, her costume loosening about her until it falls away. Left naked and powerless before her (now large and looming) foe, the once mighty heroine is quickly scooped up in a simple butterfly net.
