Scarlett Johansson had received a job offer from Netflix for an adaptation of the manga Gigant because Scarlett had a similarity to the protagonist of the manga. Since the mangaka had mentioned that he based the actress to create the protagonist, Scarlett flew to Tokyo where she would meet with the directors of the series.

After a few months and having finished filming, Scarlett decided to wander around the city of Tokyo while wearing a Chiho Johansson cosplay to promote the new Netflix series. After walking all morning, she decided to stop in a park where she could sit and rest while she read one of the manga volumes again. She slowly began to notice how the small visual novel seemed to become bigger in her hands. The moment she looked at her huge cosplay in comparison to her she understood that she was shrinking until she was no smaller than a 1/12 scale figure.

"Gosh, I think this wasn't part of the advertising," said the American actress as she observed the gigantic world that now surrounded her.

It was not all bad, In the end, Netflix found out about Miss Johansson's strange new condition and paused the premiere of Gigant to make a spinoff series where the events of the story occur differently, with the protagonist having the ability to shrink to small sizes. Scarlett did not understand the reason for this decision-making, but she soon learned that Japan is the country with the highest content of women of various sizes.
