Grace Smith and Madison Perrota were working hard on their latest scientific endeavour: the Matter Reduction booth. They had discovered that, by manipulating the space between the molecules within something, they could drastically reduce it's size. They had been testing their prototype on fruits and lab rats for several weeks, and now came the time for one of them to get in the booth to give it a try.
They played a rousing game of Rock-Paper-Scissors, and when Madison played paper to Grace's rock, Grace sighed.
"I guess that's fair. Well, first human to be shrunk is a pretty interesting title."
As they prepared, Madison entered the dimensions of Grace's body into the computer, trying to be as precise as she could, but she accidentally got a few figures wrong, off by an such an infinitesimal degree. She shrugged as she checked the math.
"That shouldn't be much of a concern" she muttered to herself as Grace disrobed and stepped onto the metal platform in the middle of the booth.
"Ready when you are, Mads."
The machine fired up and the orb above Grace's head shot a beam of pure energy into her body. Grace felt her whole body fill with a sense of excitement, giving her goosebumps all over her body as the process began. She had watched it multiple times when they tested it on their rat Reginald, so she thought she knew what to expect... but things began to take a turn for the worst almost as soon as they began.
Her belly was bulging forward, and her small pert behind was also growing as the whole of her body reduced in height.
"What the hell?"
Grace looked down to see her small breasts inflating into round, fleshy orbs draped over her new belly.
"Madison! Stop the test!"
Grace shouted, but Madison was simply staring at the booth with wide eyes, a look of horror etched on her face. Those numbers she had entered into the computer were having a dramatic effect as the machine reduced her friend, portions of her body weight shrinking disproportionately with the majority of her figure. Her feet were also not shrinking at the same rate as the rest of her, leaving her with long and wide appendages that looked silly on the shrunken girl.
"MADISON!"
"Sorry!"
Madison gasped as she turned off the machine, and powered it down.
"What did you do to me?" Grace shouted up to her friend and partner. "I look like a freak!"
"I think there must have been something wrong in the computations about your dimensions. We'll have to fix them once the machine cools down."
"That takes two days! I can't be stuck like this for TWO DAYS!"
Grace glanced over her shoulder at the massive ass that had inflated behind her, and sighed.
Madison bent down to get a closer look at her new friend. "I am sure we can find something to occupy our time!" she said with a grin that made Grace shiver with fear and... curiosity.
