Shrunk At the Gym

Lucy and Lilly head towards the "Shrink-U-Tron," a machine that resembles an airport metal detector with blue light shining on the inside. It's meant to speed up weight loss for one hour.
Lucy straightens her pink tights before going through. A blue flash of light is seen as it activates. Lilly is too busy adjusting her white sports bra to see Lucy shrink in an instant to 3.5'' tall. Lilly then walks through and shrinks to Lucy's size.

"Lilly that thing shrank us!" A panicked Lucy shouts.

"We need to get help," Lilly states the obvious.

The tiny pair run into the Yoga room. They cross the boundary of the matted hall and onto hard wood floor of the Yoga room. They see the instructor Kerri near the center of the room. They run up near her and waving their arms up at Kerri, they shout in unison, "Kerri! Down here!"

Kerri hears their squeaky voices and looks down in surprise and sees the tiny ladies. Kerri picks up the pair. They hold one another as they lay in Kerri's left hand. "Oh no, not you two as well."

"Please, Kerri, help us," Lucy says.

"I'm sorry, but we can only wait until the effect wears off. It can take two to three weeks," Kerri starts. Then her expression changes, "Though it could be longer. And there is a very tiny chance it could be permanent. But don't you worry. I'll take care of you."

"What? I'm not staying shrunk for weeks!" Lucy angrily yells up to Kerri. "Are you listening to me?!"

"We could be shrunk forever?" Lilly asks weakly.

Kerri walks off with the two tiny women in one hand. While Lucy and Lilly await an unknown fate. Would they grow back? Or would they be shrunk forever?
